how does one get their own irc channel on quakenet? i mean a permernant, not one you get by joining a server that doesnt exist

well, channels are created when you join, if channel is empty, it doesnt exist..

So, to have a permanent channel, it usually has L bot (Lightweigth quakenet service bot) which is possible to get by having certain amount of people on channel for some time..

then tell people to idle..
