just change the the standard property Compression=1 to Compression=2 in the soldat.ini of the version 1.3 and the ping goes down.

For modem user from 400 to 200.

Do you have any way to prove this? What's the compression option do, anyway? =\

I just tried it, made my ping on a LAN server go from 16 to 300 constant..... maybe this only works on internet mode

It was orignally set to 2 in the last version. Dunno why MM changed it.

Compression=2 works like Compression=1 in this version. It shouldn't do anything. What happens if you do Compression=0?
