hey, im just here to complaina bout 1.3

when i heard baout a new version of soldat, i was preparing myself. i was excited. Very excited. when it came out, all i heard was, "1.3 sucks", "oh im playing 1.2 again". This isnt what i wanted to hear. So off i went and downloaded Soldat Version 1.3 from www.soldat.pl
As i played it for the first time, i questioned, this looks good so far. Then i selected my main, The Ak, and was appauled. It shocked me how bad the new version was. 1.3 had killed autos, deagles and ruger. Not only the recoil, but the reload time of AK appauled me again. I have now decided to stay at 1.2.1, until there are no more australian servers left. That is when ill quit, and put all my time into the soldat community site i am making. I'm sure theres many poeple in this situation, but are too afraid to speak up. Well i sure know im not. Anyways hope you guys enjoy 1.3 and poeple who wanna play 1.2.1 keep going.

yeah, well im only talkign fo rthe poeple who cant be bothered. i would like to see the same improvements, but the recoil is a bit far?

Well, I'm sure we can persuade someone to keep their 1.2.1 server running, just for those that prefer 1.2.1 rather than 1.3.

um.... sorry, i dont know you either. i never sai di was important... never said i was a "commander" in soldat forums.. dont get cut at me because i voice my opinion. You know what MM shoudl have done, asked a few hundred players to test soldat 1.3 instead of just a few poeple... that would have got an opinion... but then again, im only speaking up for the minority. Every game has its downsides, soldat has recoil... anyways i didnt swear, and now i played soldat 1.3 again, im quite enjoying it now... anyways sorry if i offended anyone, just saying what i thought.

The testers as far as I know are quite like-minded people as well.

I think anyone who can speak English properly here is pretty unique, and deserves more attention than the majority (who don't).
I think a lot of the people on this site that post regularly have the exact same (if not extremely similar) views on what Soldat should be... And I think that is wrong. A lot of people who don't post here as much as you guys are often here to discuss a controversial issue they find with the game, and simply because they have a low post count they are a n00b or a sprayer or some other derogatory character. Just because "it's what MICHAL OUR GOD made" doesn't make it awesome. The Soldat online community extends well beyond the confines of this forum... And we aren't all happy with what decisions the handful of like-minded individuals come up with.

I'll say I'm getting adjusted to 1.3, but it is by no means an improvement over 1.2.1... it's just different.


Also... I feel that WM should only be for mods, and not be a real recommendation for those who prefer 1.2.1 weapons - whom are rather numerous.

all i hate about in 1.3v is the recoil thing in autos: unlike in version 1.2.1 the autos are sh1t! you fire too long, it becomes unstable... and if you are being surrounded by 2-4+ enemies, u r doomed. make this recoil as a check box,PLS!!

Hee. The AK's reload time wasn't changed at all.

You should be doomed when fighting 3 enemies or more. D'uh.
There is a way to get around the self bink. Play realistic a bit or something. You'll figure it out.

He's got a point. Get used to realistic...

Or u can train ur finger to press the mouse button rlly rlly fast. It seems to work. I notice u can fire 3 rounds in the steyr before it goes mega binky, so keep that in mind. MP5 aint too bad, AK= not sure.

um..im agreeing with person... the recoil is a bit wierd.. but now i have a new main.. ruger.. so i have no problem at the moment... 1.3 is good, except for servers having mods 24/7.. anyways... seeyas

There are some weapon modded servers that uses 1.21 weapons.

WHY DONT YOU JUST EDIT THEM WITH WEAPON EDITOR :D THINK PERSON

Autos are no where near dead, ever heard of burst fire?
Don't know about Deagles because i don't use them, but i've seen players dominate with Deagles.
Ruger is one of my main weapons, it's great, best non-auto in my opinion. I never used it in 1.2.1, but now it's my second favourite (first being steyr AUG)
