All forum moderators and administrators (yes, including Michal :P) have voted on the logos, and I now present the winner. Thanks to everyone who entered a logo, they were all very original, diverse and of a high standard :)

Coming in third place was Anna's logo, a modification of a design created by N1nj@ (which happened to receive a vote in the poll, too).

In second was the only design by Mancer that was small enough to be used on the forum. It was Mancers idea to restart this competition, so honourable mention to him there. :)

Dont mean to offend but the one I liked the least won :( I liked mancers the best. Oh well, congrats ville (I smell a conspiracy theorie :p)

Guys, as much as I don't like the winning logo, a win is a win, and since this forum was supposedly a democracy, you should've voted.

meh.. some people here have a 'thing' for pixel art..

It should be a public vote, and people vote after a certain # of days bleh.

a. Mancer
b. Ville
c. Anna

So on and so fourth.

They all made awesome logos. I really think that ville has a lightweight feel that will not only take up less bandwidth (about 12 times less than Mancer's), but will also appeal better to the forum atmosphere.

Truthfully, I'm happy it's being changed at all. That old choppy thing at the top has seen a lot of wear and tear.

Edit: What is your avvy supposed to be, Mancer? The pixelated black outline around that ruger? The lack of anti-aliasing about your text? Some applications of pixel art just look good :P

I never said anything bad about it, i was stating that some people like pixel art, so the perferred choice usually would come first. I like pixel art :X

Mancers roxars but villes is still pretty good

Ahh get over it you guys...Everyone's logo was very well done, but some didn't look good with the forum scheme. If you go back and look at the contest entries, you will see that Ville's logo went very well with the forum scheme. As great as Mancer's logo was, it just didn't go well with the dull shades of blue that the forums use.

Actually, it wasn't. I didn't fancy trying to take votes from all the normal members, too much indecisiveness and arguing. I just left the voting to the moderators.

If the forums had polls, I would have used those, but we have no such thing :(

I think Ville's logo isnt a pixelart picture... for me it's just a MS paint basic picture...

Yeah. The fact that he did it pixel by pixel or whatever doesn't mean it's pixel art. The picture needs to be isometric in order for it to be pixel art. That means his avatar and signature aren't pixel art pieces either.
