hey , try this:

try making it to a Soldat WC (WC = World Championship ;o).
you could ask a 1$ entering fee for each player or w/ever , so the pot will become very big , then the first 10% (mind the percentage! not the ten forst or the x first , but the 10% first) gets a part of the cash prize (depending on their rank ofcourse) i'm sure that this will not work at the beinning but you might think of it when your league gets well-known like SCTFL.
