I always wondered if there are good CTF maps that aren't very known among those I play with, but are widely played and appreciated.
I'm asking for competitive purposes, so 3on3 medium sized maps (like laos) are most welcome :)
If they are mirrored, even better.
The only one I know that had some success, like in gather, is nuubia.

Nuubia was my faveourite map before but dunno, it seems different in 1.3

I like Nuubia, the game play on it is fast paced and fun

I also like JungleStrike :)

i think lanubya is very good too, not to large,
and fun written all over it

Just about anything by chakapoko maker. Unfortunately the servers in the US have almost none of his maps...

Amazon, the best DM map I've ever played on. Outcast showed it to me.

There are a few old maps that I just love. I used to play them so much in older versions. Maybe you guys remember some and maybe you will put them in your servers.

I have a list somewhere of really fun maps, but I cant remember them all, so here are a few:

ctf_Forestbase2
ctf_Mistlands
ctf_Haze

This makes me want to find that list so much now. I'll find it sometime. I can give anyone these maps also. I have like over 350 maps in my collection...

bah, ctf..most of the really great non-official maps are inf, or so I like to think..

inf_Rise is my favorite though.

i agree with n00bface...most of the GREAT ones are inf maps....my favorite map of all time is Inf_Undermine

I personally find ctf_Iceland to be freaking hilarious. Nothing like 20 people sliding across a large map on their stomaches as they chainsaw each other.

ctf_smalls its rather well... small but i've had great fun playing on it against PS and other american clans. I think its in the current rotation of "Happys Server Home of The Shali Kru."
