Ok, out of ANY moment in soldat this has got to be the funniest in the history of soldat. Alright, im sure you guys know how bugged up 1.3 is, to the point the network wont even register hits properly.

Well, I was in a ctf server. There was this guy with an ego BIGGER then mine (Yes, it was bigger then mine!) Calling campers noobs, etc...so he starts camping, and I call HIM a noob. Heres exactly what he says:

"LMAO"
"Stfu"
"Nub"

(Wow, you hear that from me lol.)

So, not understanding who the hell hes dealing with, I challenged him to a 1v1. Heres what he says next

"Ok, make a server. Ill join in my real name"

So i join in, expecting to see Shady once again or some serious pro, and instead its a guy ive never even heard of whos name i didnt even bother to remember. Anyways, he was lagging slightly and 1.3 was going at it with him.

Well, when I got in, he was like.

"Ok noob, if you beat me, ill get you reg"

When he said that i thought hed be as bad as mancer...Anyways, after a breif warm up, it began. I was owning him hardcore, deagling him, and he was attempting to knife and nade me, and he was like,

"Omfg that hit you!"
"WTF"
"Dude CHEATER"

Obviously, he couldnt hit me due to lag or the fact 1.3 sometimes wont register hits. Well, i was having no problems, it went to me with 11 kills and him trailing by 6. By this time, i explained to him 832462 times it was lag, and the fact it was 1.3. Heres what he says.

"Oh yeah, lag sure"
"OMFG HACKER!!"
"DUDE WTF YOU CHEAT"
"ITS NOT 1.3 ITS YOU!! HACKER!!! IM REPORTING YOU!!" *Leaves*

...This guy, is a complete moron, with inept comprehension. And still, I would of owned him lag or no lag - he sucks. He left with the statement, "(Please refrain from swearing) this im leaving" "HACKER" And he didnt even bother to give me reg.

If you ever see this guy, hes in TA, name starts with an S i beleive. If I cant teach him the effects of lag and 1.3, SOMEONE needs to. Im also looking forward to seeing a topic on some soldat forums with him accusing me of hacking. Please, if anyone finds this topic, post a comment about what actually happened lol. Dont need no noob ruining my reputation of being a whiny little (Please refrain from swearing) - WHICH btw this guy was even MORE whinier then me....(Wow)

ONCE AGAIN, im accused of hacking because of this lag. I 1v1 this guy once again, ping was horrible - hes all bragging about how hed own me, and well....he couldnt even land a blow on me, which he was lagging, and hes calling me, "HEALTH HACKER!!!" "(Please refrain from swearing)IN IDIOT HACKER NOOB!!!" etc....and here i am trying to explain to him what lag does to people.

Is this guy's name sharlzenager? (or something similar). If it is, I've played him before and he is truly annoying. I was playing RS CTF against him. (fists only 2 on 1) At first it was 2 on 1 against me and everytime I killed him and his teammate he called me a cheater he even tried to boot me at one point. Later it was 2 on 1 against him and he would call me and my teammate noobs everytime we killed him. Also, whenever we tried to avoid contact with him. (It was fists only) He would call us chickens. One time I decided to avoid him and capture the flag instead of fighting him. He called me a chicken and said he would make fun of me on the forums and tell my clan. Then he claimed he could take my entire clan out one by one.(he has a really big ego)

And yes, I beleive that is his name. Its rather vague to me since it was rather hard for me to remember. Just ask if he 1v1ed against Extacide, the "HAXXOR HEALTH NUB". Another bit of info: He was running around as like ..::Jimmy::..::Neutron::.. Or some name like that when i was challenged to a 1v1. Dont go too hard on the kid, I dont think he really understands what lag does or the problem with the netcode in 1.3.

And Moo`, people duel because when you get to a certain skill level, your ego grows with it (There are exceptions but in most cases this is true) Take me for example, im an above average deagler, who talks so much i probably talk more then i even play the game (Sarcasm...sarcasm...). Anyways, when someone talks smack to me or about me in game, thats just not allowed - if your going to diss me, then you're going to 1v1 me to back up your insults. If i insult anyone in the middle of a game, im 100% willing to go at it in a 1v1 in a heartbeat.

Extacide, the thing that seperates the good from the great isn't located in 1v1 combat. It's located in clan wars when you have to support your team.

Some people are good at clan wars, others are good at 1v1ing. A specialty of mine is 1v1ing. Alot of the people I challenge or challenge me arent even in clans, or a scrim/cw is unavailable to do - thus 1v1ing is the next best thing. Besides: Alot of people in clans just want to 1v1 to see whos the outmost better between the two of them rather whos the most supportive to their clan.

And about the moo thing, Ive always wanted to do that. He just opened himself up vulnerable to that from me. XP

i have been playing a lot longer than you think extacide, and duels were never somthing i had to face, if your going to ask anyone that comments on your playing style for a duel, then you need a life.

Im not scared, its more of its not fun, and I dont use 1 hit kill weapons at all unless to counter a plethora of 1 hit kill users in a server, so the person im fighting has major advantages.

Btw, the forced strategy you have to use with any barret or m79 is shoot, then hide and reload - then come out to shoot again. Some people whom ive denied to 1v1 with, that were stubborn with using one of these 2 weapons, denied this habit. So, i dueled him. Whatta ya know: He took 1 shot, hid from me while i chased him around trying to get in range for 1 flipping shot, so he takes another which either kills me or didnt, and ran back to hiding again - rather a hit and run strategy.

Its no fun...yes, all people do this with any weapon because if you're low on health and manage to get away, you'll naturally look for health rather then score a point to the enemy - I do it. Just that, about 75% of the time when 2 players collide, only one will fall still alive. When its barret or m79...its 1 quick shot then run away before even taking 1 blow.

if you cant dodge an m79 shell, or atleast stay out of it's range, you're just a sad excuse for a player.
about barret - what's the problem taking out a barret while you've got an auto? this arguement would be legit at the versions when the bink system was not introduced yet. right now, all it takes is a single bullet just to mess up your opponent barreter's aiming. i really cant have this arguement with you if you're unable to bink a barreter, and then kill him (and killing a binked barreter is like shooting a dead duck.. if you got any skill, that is).

i wont go any deeper into this conversation. hell knows i've went through every piece of it with other, far more experienced players than you.
most of them dont have a problem with the barret now, as they are more against spraying.

Look - I dont care. I dont give 2 damns about dodging and messing up shots - i do all of that, and it works about 30% of the time. Ill grab an HK, charge up to a camper or a guy with a barret and spray the living hell and then my screen will warp across the map when to my dismay he shot off my head.

M79s? I can stay out of their range, but then *I* would be hiding and i would be stuck in their situation when they're reloading and running.

About you hiding or camping? I never said one thing about good barreteers or m79ers camping. Im saying, EVERY person who have used an m79 or barret against me, dodge bullets and place obstacles inbetween the two of us aka hiding until they reload. The only exception is if they switch to a secondary weap and charge at me again. Point: Lame, no fun when its with barrets and m79s.

m79's are very easy to 1v1 against, because as has been said, u can stay away. however, a barret tends to have a huge advantage in a 1v1, especially if the person camps. in that instance, the only way to beat them is to spray (which is the whole reason self-bink was invented, to prevent this, so that's no bueno!) and any decent barreter who can understand that a barret fires straight will take out an auto before he can get close enough to bink him. i have beaten barrets in 1v1's, and i've lost to them to, and normally the games are quite frustrating. however, i've also played with exta, and i'll give you some advice....just ignore him like i do :-D.

PS - still love you exta, in a very heterosexual way.
PSS - somebody please pwn exta and post the score on here...it's always fun to see him get wiped all over the floor.

PSS: Only one person so far has ever technicaly "Owned" me rather then beat me, and ill even admit it. Well, i'll even tell the story because, im not afraid to admit my ass woopings.

Alright well...about a month ago, i was in a ctf server...doing my thing...talking too much, when an insult of mine happened to hit this guy called hydrocide or something. He challenged me to a 1v1, with an ego of his own. So, being as egotistical as I am I of course accepted.

Well, we did a ctf 1v1 and for the first 5 minutes at ctf_ kamp, we kept running past eachother and killing eachother...it was rather funny because we both killed eachother about 7 times in a row running past eachother and knifing eachother. Well, he gave me the option to do a teammatch instead, so we did.

He came in his real name, [PS] Shady. Well, i didnt land 1 blow on him. He picked ruger first, took me out in 2 shots before i made hit. And it went over and over, him, slaughtering me and i not even able to hit him whatsoever. After he racked up 20 straight kills, he cycled through every weapon making perfect shots, killing me using every weapon there was, and i think i only managed 6 kills because of the fact i started cycling too and managed 6 barret kills.

In the end, he literally slaughtered me, with every weapon. I beleive, that so far out of any soldat player i have ever met, he is probably the best ive ever seen, imho. And you know what I figured...hes that good, and i only managed to kill him, with a gun that required 1 shot to kill. If I couldnt do it with any other weapon except a barret, there must be something about barrets that even newbies like I once was to actually kill the best players, yet I couldnt do it with any other weapon (m79 i think i didnt even try with).

That same day, I think i lost 1 more match by 6 kills to another good ruger. My first time meeting solohan, he beat me by 2 kills in an extremely close 1v1 a long time ago. I also 1v1ed dragonlord recently and lost. Me and xenocide had a fun 1v1 ctf, which it was best out of 3. First game we tied 8-8, when he scored in the last 3 seconds >.>. 2nd game he beat me by 9-7. And the final game, with 10 seconds left, i had the flag and he was dead at ctf_nuubia, i was running right under the walkway to the left base to score, when time ran out and i was an inch away from scoring - so in the end, Xenocide won. That was probably the closest and most fun 1v1 ive had recently.

Im not as perfect as I supposedly say. Ive only been playing for about 4 months, so im flawed in my experience which allows my aim to go up and down and i just dont know everything there is to know to soldat. I know what I need to improve on, and im working on it, and i know its my self control. Its just that, when your dodging all these bullets, and taking these guys down, making kewl scores, and it all ends when your nailed by a barret round or m79 shell, it just ticks me off...most of the time in public ctf's its the only way im killable. Well, ive been thinking of doing more private matches to go up against the higher ups in soldat to see how id do...

Barrets aren;t for pussies, if you actually KNOW how to use em. You shouldnt focus on staying still too long, instead you should keep moving and focus on killing people before they do, via good aim. Thus the combat sniper is born! I rarely use the scope, its too clunky and u cant tell if ur getting damaged.

Well, my clan SL just got their own server, so hopefully when I have to 1v1 short minded idiots like the one I mentioned in my first post, there should be a significant decrease in lag. Good. Hes added me on MSN with his immature attitude, nagging me to 1v1 him after i just got back from being gone 3 days after i logged onto my computer 10 minutes ago. Funny thing is, its never occured to him the possibility of my own skill, and he never considered the idea that i could even win.

I have come to beleive, I am not the most egotistical player of Soldat, rather one of the most. :D

Well, he STILL is as stubborn as ever, because im being nagged into a 1v1 while im trying to warm my aim up which unfortanately takes a few hours.

We 1v1ed again, ironicly he had the same advantages I had in our first duel - laggy, and i was barely warmed up. Kind of funny, because the first duel we had with that lag I won by a huge margin, so now im lagged and he wins by a huge margin. Well, we're going to rematch another time in a good non-laggy server so neither of us have that advantage.

Well, atleast I wasnt yelling hacker every death I had. Now I see why he was calling me a hacker - every freaking kill and hit wouldnt register XD *sigh* Lag sucks.
