But we will be doing it twice!
First: Saturday 20:00 GMT+1 (Uk time)
Second: Sunday 20:00 GMT+1 (Uk time)

Low quality server: http://llsc.us:8000/listen.pls --> 48kbits bitrate, located in the USA

This is for those players with Dial ups, or just ppl with slow connections , so EVERYONE can listen.
If you expirience any problems (even if your connection is set a fast one) try moving to the second server.

Both broadcasts will be live! the first one will concentrate mostly on questions brought up by the Radio staff and if time allows it, some audience questions.
Second broadcast on sunday will concentrate mostly on the audience's questions.

What do you need?
You need a program that is able to play Internet streams , we heard reports that it works with alot of programs, but we reccomand Winamp!

FAQ:
1- Uk time is now GMT+1 (daylight saving time) so if you thought its GMT+0 you were right! but not at this season!

2- .pls files are opened automaticly by winamp just by letting your browers open it, or in other words, just click the damn thing !

3- We will be recording it, but it won't be availble for download any time soon.

4- I added another date when we will broadcast the recording for those player on the other side of earth :)

That's Monday East Coast time 20:00

20:00 GMT+1 (8:00 PM) which is UK time
15:00 GMT-4 (3:00 PM) is which is EST (eastern standard time) for east coast people

13:00 GMT-6 (1:00 PM) which is MT (Mountain time) for mountain men ;)

That's 14:00 in EST, which is 2:00pm EST...

AFAIK UK time is GMT+1 now, because it's shifted to save the day light or something... During winter it's GMT.

i can't figure out what time it will be, because you guys said england does daylight savings, and quebec does daylight savings, so i subtract only 5 hours, right? (quebec is GMT-5) not 6?

Understandably, the questions weren't of the best of quality. I did try to stick to the more sensible or maturely amusing questions I was requested to ask, but evidently even the best questions to choose from at the time weren't exactly 'good'. There was alot of spam too...


Still, theres another interview with him on Sunday, same time 8pm GMT, so feel free to pop into IRC on irc.quakenet.org into the channel #soldat-radio and ask us questions you'd personally like to hear. Have you tried compressing it into MP3/OGG/WMA/other format?

It is mp3, somone had the briliant idea of converting a 64Kbps mp3 stream into a 96Kbps mp3...

Note, the recordings are a little 'long'. The first one was 2:16 hours long.

The first 3 minutes feature alot of skipping, as the radio was lagging due to too high a quality broadcast (and probably the 110 listeners on top), and theres alot of nonsense and gibbering. It gets boring at times, and hilarious at others. Covers such topics as Michal's virginity, what colour his ceiling is, and how we beta-tested rollerscates and kite surfing but didn't think them appropriate for release. Alot of laughter and nonsense.

The second interview is significantly shorter, and is a bit more straight forward and clear in asking a stream of semi-sensible questions, then it wanders off into DJ Squal/Ok spectating people playing a pointmatch game with Michal for half an hour.

So yeah, all in all, all together, about 3 hours of Michal.

ukhm... an interview in Polish will definetly bring us many more listeners than just simple music played all the time... Besides... so many people asked for that... I can't just say 'hey... sorry!
