This is are first MOD to the Soldat community and we think we made a pretty good go of it :)

* All Weapons Models Have Been Changed Except The Chainsaw
* New Weapon Sounds (Even Reloading)
* A Few Soldat Sounds Have Been Changed Aswell (Grenade Rolling etc)

Oh and we changed the M2 with an M60, sorry for no screenies on that.

We had a small team but it worked out fine in the end

neither the crossbow nor the m14 belong in this mod.. they couldn't be less modern.

Crossbow....riiiiiggghhhhhttttt... the crossbow in HL2 was fun in odd ways, but unless you can pin ppl to walls with this one, nah.

This looks... shrunken. No offence, but sorry to say, that only works for some people.

EDIT: Well, ask around. For a first try, I guess it's okay, but shrinking makes them look pixelated. Unless you edit them some.

EDIT 2: I don't get how this is supposed to be in the Totally 1337 Mods section - it just changes some sounds and weapon skins - no gostek or interface.

Like I said in the previous post the crossbow is a mess around weapon. if you can give us some ideas for a good replacment i will happily look into it.
and also the M14 is still in service so how is it not exactly Modern?

m14 is still in the army yes but mostley is replaced by an m21

Yes...in general discussions... i have created a weapon that rivals the PHYSCANNON (A.k.a MANIPULATOR) from Half Life 2! All weapon-gfx belong to AZN-blood! weapons3.ini belongs to me! So u must make your own manipulator. Look for the topic in General Discussions, its called PhysCannon

they all look like you shrunk them down in paint, and didnt keep the aspect ratio. bad.

i havent got your physics cannon thing whatever it is in my MOD, and i never will have a look in your zip file and you can verify this. i havent got a weapons config named weapons3.ini in this mod.
because no offence but i dont like your physics cannon anyway so why would i put it in this MOD??

Look at all the other mods in this forum - what do they have? A complete mod, save the Replacement Killers, but that is an exeption, as it was moved here by Meandor. Add a gostek and interface, or this belongs in the Partially 1337 Mods section.

Don't be bashing 117 - he's trying to help. I'll give you points for effort, but overall, out of ten, you get a four - minus a big five for the shrinking, minus three for the size ratio, and plus two for the sounds.

Lolz, i wasnt forcing. It was just so idea a came up with, cos its still not developed yet. Crossbow should be a single shot weapon of another kind, like a rifle with low power or something like a cross between a ruger and a barret in terms of power and reload time/fire interval. That would be cool.

But i dont think many ppl attempt this sort of thing, to work in a group, so i guess its ok.

some military forces use crossbows, but not that type. the modern crossbows have standard pistol grips and no buttstock AFAIK. and they have cool hi tech laser sights.

Can you guys give me an Idea for a weapon to replace the Crossbow because i have no ideas, and ill have a go at making the weapons by hand and not shrinking them to see if it looks better. expect an update soon.

Why not use a cross bow itd be more gun like then just a bow.

make a high-tech modern crossbow, like i described.
