for ppl who want to say its too big or too small
i prepared 2 extra map verison: 0,75x and 2x
(...good show of PW scaling feature)

map isn't waypointed (maybe when PW will support it ;p)

It gives me an idea that the soldats in this are microscopic fighting on pebbles. O_o; Interesting.

Amazing. This is a very good use of PW yet again!
No polybugs at all... clever use of the texture.
If I were you, I would have put a black surrounding on the borders... ;)
Nice one!

I played on this map yesterday with cooz and friends, and it is really fun. The layout is cool.

Very nice. Your poly placement is superb, I also did not find any polybugs.
The only thing I don't like is how the border stones are cut off, it would be nice if they were shaped like the inner stones. But then again, I don't know the restrictions of the photo used.
Good job anyway :]

well, u couldnt make such map in mapmaker because of few reasons, for example, in PolyWorks is much more precise sysytem of verticles placement and moving, whole texture management is just superb(in comparison to PolyWorks, in mapmaker u cant do anything with textures!), and most importat in mapmaker u cant change texture resoluton(from default 128x128), in this map i used 1400x925.

download this map and try making similar map in mapmaker using my texture,

peace.

10/10 mate! It's brilliant. Tell me, did you do the vertex placing yourself, or did this magic Polyworks use some sort of "smart-edge" type thing to make the polygons?

I forsee that maps will be done like this more often. (you could draw a picture of the landscape you want, put it up on PW, and make it into a map!)

wunderbear, yes i placed every verticle myself, but in PW its much easiers than in orginal mapmaker,

ps
im curious why U ppl like more this map than previous one,
this is just f****** huge texture, and Two Worlds used 2 different textures,
which is in my opinion much much more advanced map making technique :S

cooz, because this one looks better ^^
make some awesome map with two (or more) textures and the ppl will faint ;)

also, wunderbear, that is already possible (drawing something than loading into <insert map maker here>) -> with Sava! Search for it in the fan apps section ^^
