On the abstract point of view, this piece of art gives an impression of the psychological overview of a cowboy in the Wild West.

A division between toughness as the cactus symbolizes, and the softness which's symbolized by giraffe's neck. Those two objects are seemingly loose, but actually tightly connected.

After close examination I have determined that the cactus, giraffe, and carrots all represent a phallus. The cowboy is suffering from castration syndrome, note the large empty space between his legs and downcast look. He feels inadequate due to his small carrots.

I always liked picture with a really good contrast, and I like this too.

It's pretty good for Paint. I wish my hands were that steady. =P
