Whenever i try to get a list for servers on Soldat, i always get disconnected from my dial-up.. The first time i tried to get the list it worked though.. I got in a game and no lag.. This also happens in all of my steam games. Is there any way i can lower the cpu usage of soldat when it is getting the list of servers? Thanks.

Add a few filters to the list so you're not requesting so much data across your dial-up connection. Some good options might be Dedicated only or sorting by certain game types.

doesn't this still download all the servers and then filter the results out as it chooses which to display? If so, this would use just as much of his connection and even more cpu
