how do u download mods and interfaces?

That was so...spammish. To run the mod, look for the other topic called soldat.exe -mod goatsiehorse...its a sticky.

Before you ask, they usually come with a .TXT telling where to put the downloaded files. Read 'em!

if you want to load an interface:

download the folder (usually a .zip or .rar) onto your desktop.
unzip it with winzip or winrar onto the desktop.
open the folder
copy all the files
go to c:\soldat\interface-gfx
paste the files there (NOT IN THE GUNS FOLDER)

i never see any point in using the mods folder for just an interface or a single weapon.

But u see, u use the mods folder for testing! so you dont screw up ur actual game mod u use!

Simply put, make sure that its the 'actual' soldat folder, in the actual directory u install it in. Not everyone installs theirs on c:/ drive.

i have a ? after you have it downloaded how do you get to where you can use the mod??
