So far I've only seen two methods. Burst-fire (let go after a few shots, wait a fourth of a second, then fire a few bullets again) seems to be popular among the forum. However some guys on the Ultimate 13 CTF server said that tap-shooting is better (rapidly click as if the machine guns were semi-automatic) since "you waste less bullets" and you're more accurate. I still burst instead tho' 'cuz I'm lazy of clicking so much :-P

Yes, clicking as fast as you can is the ultimate solution. And you know it. Although with the mp5, I just hold down the button until my clip runs out or somebody dies. But with the other autos, just click as fast as you can (works especially well when you're in mid air). Headshots with autos.......

Minimi seems even more accurate than it was in 1.2.1 when you just click as fast as you can. Mp5 Ill just spray the person mindlessly and keep upclose to maintain accuracy and damage. AK just do the same as the minimi, steyr i havent touched much yet.

Not using autos. My anti-bink.

I fire 5-10 bullet bursts with MP5 .. and despite that I really try hard not to spray, I'm still being occasionaly called a sprayer.. mostly by barret guys, hehe :p

I don't do 3 bursts or anything. Just when it seems like it's getting unaccurate, I stop for half a second then start spraying again.

only auto i use is AK, and i just click fast

I pray and spray... but I typically burst fire myself, for me it all comes down to how close the person is for how far I let it bink before i burst again :O Its pretty much on automatic for me, I do it without even thinking :o

Why, selfbink is fun. I prone at base and keep shooting until the ammo is up. That's the way of the real pro!

With the Aug I burst fire, with AK I tap the button.

all autos, burst fire, I usually try to "burst fire" 3 seperate times before a full clip is empty.

MP5 - mostly ignore the feature, all I really use the gun for is to give barretards tons of bink quickly.

AUG - I squeeze off 3 rounds, the gun is great if you burst fire.

and those are the only 2 autos I use.

I haven't even begun to cope. My minimi has been utterly neglected since 1.3, but I think I'm going to go play right now and try the single bullet tapping method.

I do the single fire till I get close, then burst, then close enough unleash a full auto.
