How extreme do you take it. Do you map out strategies in the sandbox like the guy from PurePwnage? What do you do?

Its not a difficult game and theres only a few tactics you can do for each map that wont end up in you losing like 10-0. (If followed strictly.)

i dont take soldat that serious, becus its a fun game and it doesnt involve alot of thinking

I take modding much more seriously than the actual game since it requires effort >:-(



xD Eh, it's probably the only game I truly play so I reflect on it a lot, but I don't say "OMG YOU HAVEN'T HEARD ABOUT SOLDAT?!" or anything :-P

I take clanwars serious like I will have a strategy all setup before I go in but just playing around in a pub I don't.

I just play the damn game now and then. I do not talk about it.

I generally don't do anything beyond shooting the bad guys.

I just play around on the public ctf and dm servers, although I might take a shot at map making. Oh, and run around the forums here of course.

Really I more "seriously" play a different game--a MMORPG that I happen to be an admin in, albeit a low-level one.

I dont take it seroiusly i just run in and "FOR FRODO!" it and just shooting anything that moves including the map ^_^ but clanwars i take seriously even mix scrimmages but try having fun at the same time or else it gets frustrating, and when i start gettin owned i start using barret or minigun Lol and people do the same cause once again "its a game" but a good one at that.

i sometimes daydream about soldat and think about camping strategies in math class.....they work too 8D

i plan maps on scrap pieces of paper when im out and about, but thats as far as i go

I strategize. On Mondays I play with the deagles, on Tuesdays I take the HK MP5, and so on down the list. This helps to ensure that I have equal skill with all weapons and that I dominate all the time.

I also practice messing with the enemy's morale. I'll sit in front of a mirror and say "You barretard n00b" or "Fecking spawn camper looser autotard" until I've convinced myself that I'm saying it with as much force as text carries. This is to keep me level while I play and make sure that the enemy knows who they're messing with.

I have AOL and sometimes it screws up and won't let me online, so I just sit there and play with bots for five, six, even ten hours. Boogie Man is all right, but he's not a big talker.

I'd say that I'm moderately invested in this game, not like some of those gaming freaks out there...

I never go as far as to plan strategy, I'm too freelance for that. But occaisonally after a game I'll reflect on a game or consider weapon combinations and how they could be played. That's what spurred me to test out the Mini and Socom combo. ^_^

I just click the mouse button sometimes, and insult people a lot maybe 5 minutes a day 3 times a week and that's all

hmmm well i use the sniper alot less now and i use nu#2 way more but it really depends on the game i.e how many ppl what the other ppl are useing

Yeah i dream about Soldat/Msn/Counter-Strike/And beating the (Please refrain from swearing) out of people which is quite enjoyable.

Lessee, i usually take strategies. like on CTF_run, ill dive into the tunnels with my HKMp5 or ruger, and i'll have another guy tailing me with a barret. When i reach the base, i usually don't take the flag, because the guy with the barret usually can't fight back against more than two enemies. I usually intercept the flagger and return it only when the friendly flagger gets to the score area, or there might be a chance that the enemy will steal the flag.

sometimes ill just use soccom i think im soccom crazy and i mean ONLY USE SOCCOM but i only do that when im feeling up to it ~~i always win with soccom but it really hard~~

I really don't care about the game that much, put I will work on certain "skills" from time to time if I'm feeling ambitious. So, I'll only use knife or socom for a while to practice, etc.

I have this blackboard in my room, and I can draw a pretty high quality sketch of all the default Soldat maps. I plan my strategy on that, and I occasionally call my dad's ex-student, who's now a top Hungarian military commander to help me think up a winning strategy. I also practice with an extender using only one hand, to keep my barreting-motion fit and fight-ready.
Sometimes I sniff up some strange dust that an Old tribal-shaman gave me for some booze, gives me 'intuition' to think up great strategies.. too bad that I just lay around for hours when I think of tactics this way, because all my limbs become numb. The doctor says that if I won't lay off the stuff, I might loose a leg.. but it's goddamn worth it if I'm going to win games!

I dream about Soldat, occasionally.

I dont take soldat too seriously... I've only broken 2 or 3 mice and a keyboard over it...

i am taking this game like it is a simple fun game to spend free time,2 maximum per day is enough,acctualy it became booring when playing to much at one day.

I wouldnt say i take it seriously but id o when a guy with a barret or m79 keeps blasting me then i go nuts and..... think of a strategy to own them back lol. I also have small strategys for most maps. I dont take it to far i try not to but time flies when ur playing it.

I cant take soldat farther than the desk which my computer resides.
The cords just wont let me go down the stairs.
So I 'spose I can take soldat about a foot far.

I occasionally think of a design for a soldat map, lying in bed. Can't sleep until I sketch it down, too.

I really suck at making maps but i actually make plans with my expo marker and white board(which i made my parents put in)and just write strategys for each map that i like. I might start a strategy notebook or something...

I have a ton of map drawings from free time in skool. Whenever I try to make some they all turn out as crap and never how I want them and I could easily post scanned versions of them to be 1337ized by chakapoko maker, Rambo_6, The Geologist, etc. but I want major credit for their designs and am too greedy to let someone else claim it all xD

I'll wake up, in the morning and masturbate over TheRelinquished's duct-tape wallet, and then go and have a nice, healthy breakfast, eaten with the biggest, sharpest kitchen knife I can find.
I'll then start Soldat up, and then do some finger-stretches to make sure my reflexes are up to date. After a nice and easy round in a public server, I'll get some high octane coffee and practice typing in insults, such as classics like:

After doing some more finger stretches, I meditate to keep my mind on the job.
The next two or three hours will be me begging my parents to register Soldat, but only get as far as the website, before they find my stash of michal Marcinkowski porn, thus giving me a slap over the head.
