What is the point of the time 'limit' on the flamer. It does nothing at all as you still have the weapon after the 'time limit'.

Because in DM you're invulnerable until the timer runs out.

C'mon mickle you must've learned something when being around here for quite some time.

When you get "God mode" you will be invulnerable untill the timer ends. By the time this ends you will be vulnerable again, but you will keep the flamethrower for fun.

It's impossible to make it more simple, really.

Yeah, i love the god mode, none can harm me!!!. I thought explosions of certain magnitudes could, correct me if i'm wrong. The flamer is still a good weap to have.

Actually, michal should put a reload time...it's too overpowered.

Actually, I believe it works in every game mode now.

As to Mickle, as everyone here already said, you're invincible until the timer runs out. When the timer runs out, you can be hurt again, but you still have the flamer.

Yeah, the God part works for all modes now. Or at least I know it works in CTF. But M79s and LAWs will still do the trick, methinks.
