DM Burnification - UPDATED!!!

This map has (from tons of work) no polybugs! It's not bad lookin' at all and has plenty entertaining features. I've made tons of maps, only once submitting a map a long while ago. Since then I've improved my skills and made this themed map. It's an old cave where war was waged, and it's got all the supporting evidence of that.

In the update I changed the colors, added scenery, shaded, and waypointed. Please give feedback again.

Supported Game Types:
Team Match
Death Match (This is where this map shines)
Rambo Match

Please give feed back.
I'd be really glad if someone could host this map on their server, that would be great.

I was honestly close to changing the thread title to "DM Burnification - absolutely no shading" :P

The layout looks quite interesting, but sadly the background color doesnt fit the red polys, there is no shading and the sceneries don't fit into the map the way you placed them + there are far too few of them.

Alrighty, the map layout is nice, but the map just looks too empty. Also, I dont think that all of those colors match very well. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. I've never been good with scenerey, and I attempted shading on this map but it screwed up everything. What color should I change the background to? I always liked blue on red but if you don't think it looks good then what should I do?

Try making it seem more war-like by making the polygons all a black/green shade with a darkening olive background perhaps? You can also add plenty of grass to the polygon ground, make things interesting.

People seem to have covered most of the qualms I had with the map itself...aside from that tank :p. Seems way too out of place. Shading, tightening the map up, changing background color, etc will be good. Layout does look cool, maybe a bit more horizontality to it? Just a suggestion. Keep it up.

just few, but its just map construction and errors of soldat map format, u can fix them all,
with m79 and nades u can find polybugs in places where there are any ones.

Thanks, I'm working on a fixed version. I don't know about those polybugs, but thanks for sharing the links cooz. I'm currently shading and I already changed the colors of everything. Then I'll get someone to waypoint it if I can't succesfuly do it myself.

eek too much red.....i dont like it
and its too small....oh and i got more soldat XFIRE THAN U HAHAHA

I updated it so take a look fokes. And I don't play soldat that often anymore because with the update came craploads of Weapons Mods server and they SUCK.

Anyhoos, it hurt my brain to put that scenery in >_<
Next time I'm getting someone else to do it. I'm more of a polygon guy.
