Ok here're teh problems, I reinstalled windows today, the thing is, I don't have the right drivers to play soldat, it says that my comp does not support direct x8 ( I have it, even the 9 )

Liek I can't listen music, because I don't have the right thing to listen or wtf I didn't understand ....

Did you buy it? Are you saying the in-built MP3 Player doesn't work?

Try installing the newest drivers for your sound/graphics card to replace the windows drivers, if you haven't done that already.

I'm talkin about windows media player, I haven't downloaded any other media program yet, but I guess the problem is the same for all media players.
