This is the story:

I am playing soldat. It works just fine.

Then, after 10-50 minutes (= different every time) when I'm in the middle of a fight, the game freezes. Graphics, sound, input all not working. Escape, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Alt+Tab, Ctrl+Escape are all not working.

Then, after 10-40 seconds (= different every time) the game goes on like nothing happened. It handles all input, that I gave it during its freeze, at once.

Then, after another minute, it freezes again. This time only the graphics freeze. Sound, input, gameplay all continue. All I can do is press Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Delete or something like that.
When I switch back to Soldat it gives me a DirectX error (hardware not supported bla bla..) and quits.

When I try to re-start the game, the DirectX error pops up again. I have to restart my computer to make the game work again.

Computer specs:
Asus A7V8X-X (BIOS rev. 1007)
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
512 MB DDR SDRAM
Geforce 4 MX 460 (64 MB) (driver ver. 7.1.8.9, BIOS rev. 4.17.00.45.00)

That's all ya need to know, I think.

Anyone have an idea?

First off, don't double post. *sigh*

Secondly, try turning off any extra applications that are running. Anti-virus, firewall, your porn browser, whatever. Turn it off. Then give Soldat a go.
