From the FAQ on the topic:

10. I get a runtime error when I start PolyWorks.

Try changing the Dir entry in the Preferences section in polyworks.ini to your Soldat directory.

I tried extracting the files again and it now says "component 'MBMouse.ocx'(which i do have in the folder) or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" I press ok and try reopening the program again and the runtime error opens with it!!!! please help

Are all of the files going to one folder together?

Some one needs to tell us which files go into wat folders. I have downloaded Polyworks, extracted to C:/Polyworks. I have tryed to load the program. "File Not Found", and "Runtime Error". WTF is going on? Someone who has a working copy of Polyworks Should download the latest Clickteam Installer, and make an install file. Ok
Thankyou.

Have you read any of the Polyworks Q&A topics? I'm running Polyworks off of my desktop and it works just fine. You can download polyworks to your Soldat directory, but it is not critical that you do so. Are there any driver updates or other programs that need refreshing?

I will try to fix this problem by making an Auto-installer for Polyworks. I'll let you know when I have done it. If some one can fix me up with a list of files and wat folders they go in, It will help greatly.

put all the stuff in the main soldat folder, tell it the path to the soldat folder, and if it doesnt work, stop trying. just use the default, we all did great with it for years.
