does anyone know of a freeware .gif creator that can:

stick a buch of images together

have a specific number of repeats (ex 1,2,infinite)

stay on each frame for a certain amount of time, preferably unevenly (as in subimage 1, 50 miliseconds frame 2, 100 miliseconds)

save as .gif

transparency

as i am using a sucky shareware prog that has other random crap i don't want for only 30 dollars. oh boy.

It isn't completely free (*cough*) Animation shop 3 is a good program... It's a tad old, but it rocks.

Jasc animation shop owns and it has all the things you need.
I'm sure you can find a way of getting 'round the whole 'paying' thing ;) ;) ;0

Do a google search for Unfreeze. It's what I use.

Or even better, click the link for unFREEz.
If you want to set transparency (because I forget if unFREEz does, since it has been a bit since I used it), get InfranView or another image editing program like the GIMP.

i'm using unfreez at this very moment... thanx. quick question though, how do you make it so each frame has an individual delay? is this possible with unfreez?

You can't, unfortunately. I recall hearing something about a very ancient & free Microsoft .GIF animator that lets you do so...
