err... does anyone know anything about microsoft excel? specifically, how to place the function of a graph so it shows up like a legend? please??

ok, say you make a graph using excel

now you want the function of the graph... the equivalent of y=mx+b, to appear on the graph. how do you do that?

Wow... It looks like i've forgotten everything about excel in two years time :o
Sorry can't help you. Graphs are located in the toolbar under maybe "insert" or something similar (i don't have the english version) and on insert, go to diagram, i think.

Oh...pfft, easy. Select the cell and input your equation in the little space above the spreadsheet. At least, if you're talking about what I think you are.

I dont believe if it is possible to write mathematical function graphs in excel.

Well, what would the point of excel be then if you couldn't do any useful graphs?

Yeah, you definitely can. Just click a cell and you can input a formula.
