Is there any other program that can provide the basic functions Fraps provides (eg screen video capture) but isn't actually Fraps? I hate the fact that you can only record for thirty seconds at a time or however long the limit is. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated because, besides the fact that it sucks, Fraps frequently freezes my computer.

you can just download one of the old version of fraps, i dont think they have a timelimit...

it works after you change its options to capture at the screen resolution of the game/whatever your doing
