1.)Creating Bots (v1.1 to v1.13)
=============
1st step: get a bot from Soldat v1.05b
or make one with (Soldat Bot Creator and Editor v1.0b)
find it at:

2nd step: open it with notepad
3rd step: this is how a bot from v1.05b
looks like in Notepad:

2.)Creating/Editing Bots (v1.15)
=====================
Unfortunately, the old program will no longer
work! (NOO!!!!) [:(]

CREATING
++++++++
you open up one of the bots that came with the Soldat game.
Then you open up another notepad window and paste it there. Then u edit it the way u want it (Change the name, Fav .Weapon etc.) Read below to see more info on editing

EDITING
+++++++
you must edit the bot by opening the bot using Notepad
and you will see something like this:

You can then edit the values of the bot.
Then when you have edited, save and PLAY!

3.)Editing Bots (v1.1)

Use the creator/editor!!
When you edit it, remember
to add camping again! (read above)

4.)Editing Player
==============
You can use this program to change
your Soldat. changing its skin color to red
and other stuff. make your skin invisible.

5.)Bots Playing Rocky
==================
If you want the bot to always use hands,
using notepad, edit the bot and change its fav weapon
to Hands(with no spaces). When you have put the fav weapon
to hands, do not edit it with the bot creator/editor
or you will get a runtime error. Then you can run it with Soldat
and watch it play rocky [:)] Especially good for the zombie bot.
there is no need to take out all the weapons cause they will use
their hands forever!


6.)Important
=========
please also read the whole topic before you come
to me and complain.

please do not put the weird < # > symbols
as shown. its just a reference. and camping is
lying around and sniping - numbers 0-255 is the percentage
of how much the bot lies down and snipes.

the old program will no longer work with Soldat v1.14

Max Acurracy - 100%
Max Grenade Use - 100%
Max Chat Frequency - 100%
Max Camping - 255

heh I believe u did. btw, could u tell me (if u know) how can i find a color code so i can change the color of my skin?

Color codes are hex colors, if you can edit hex, you can get it, there is a proggie named sscc2 that edits it, also, you can get your shirt the color you want (from the soldat menu) and copy the code from it!

fuking sniper...great idea! This could mean changing colors within Soldat other than your uniform...perhaps.

This DOES mean you can change skin color from your shirt, I was using this for ages, everybody kept asking how was my skin green...

Ah I meant colors all over the game not just your character, like the menu + buttons etc...I gave it a shot but haven't had any luck...

What I did to change the color of my guys skin (and all the bots) was type "cl*******" where the *'s are the color (ex. Blue)

This worked 85% of the time, but with some colors (brown) it crashed teh bot, making him stationary, and giving him a peice of scenery (ex. a long board) for a head :s

is there a way for a bot to have two colors for the shirt, and one for the pant? like 3 different colors?

Maybe, but you'd have to do gfx editing in the gostek-gfx folder.

ya that is possbile...just dont use colour like black, gray, white or any colour between those three because hmm....hard to explain...

so if you want to have two different colours on the shirt...edit it with the colour that you want (eg. Red, Blue). Just remember dont use black, gray, white or any colour between those three.

i have found the program that you can use to change the color
of your Soldat!! find it in the new section i added!

Of course he is! so is zombie making, mods, and all kind of color changing...

Hacking a software litteraly means that you change the contents in it, that you dont just use it 'as is' so, yes we are all hacking right now, these hacks though arent malicious, just cosmetic ones that dont harm the game..... but rather, increase the fun......

Well, I added camping to a 1.05 bot, and that didn't work. And when I run the bot program, some .dll is missing. I have directx8.1, and 1.1.3(working, I might add), and the bot editor worked for me before, w/ 1.0.5. I have no idea what's wrong.

unable to load the ClrPckr.ocx, it says. That's after I install it. . .

Yes, make sure you have SSCC version 2.5 and Bot Creator/Editor version 1.0b.

The skin changer don't work every time i change my skin to green i go in to soldat and it is back to white

mine says The Soldat Configuration File can not be found

so the .INI file is not found right?

just use the open program thing,
find the .INI file and then press it.

and that will probably work

No idea what u guys are talking about but using Notepad is really easy... except getting the codes for da colors can be a pain

it's really not that hard if you know hex.

here's how soldat does colours:
#00RRGGBB

don't touch the first two zeros, theyr'e there to help soldat recognize that its a colour.
