i have direct x 8.1 (it was fine for 1.0.4b its fine for 1.3)
and when i try to play soldat window'd i get an error (try turning off features like antialiasing..) but when i turn on fullscreen i plays fine. i want to play windowed like i always have with out the dx9 3hr download (if that even helps)

if this is solvable pls let me know if not i can get dx9 when i get som Z's

you might also get the "..try turning off features like antialiasing.." if you don't have sound drivers, it happened to me.
