I'm new around here, and I was lightened up upon this forum. Well, I can't say I'm a veteran or even registered, but I am definatly not a noob. I've been around since the 1.21 days, the days when skill was valued and hackers were frowned upon.
Well, I just would like to say hello.

What was the first version like? How do you feel about 1.3, and what was your favorite version?

No idea, 1.3 Is no fun, 1.2.1

Being here since 1.2.1 isnt jack :/ some of these guys been around from the begining or close to.

yeah i remember the rollover from 1.1.4 to 1.1.5. have you ever played the 1.05b? there are links to it around the forum. tis amusing somewhat.

OMG Captain Ben. 1.2 for me aswell. There was like a patch for it. WE have something in common :O

why do you people hate 1.3, it's not the best but i like it better then 1.2.1, now that was horribile with the wall glitch :(

1.3 > 1.2.1

1.4 was [CENSORED] ;D lol the chainsaw was.. well..
I reckon my favrit version is 1.1.3 Like playing 1.05b aswell tho.

I joined in 1.1.5. I think I had the most fun back then with this game, but all games are like that when you first play it.
Now I have most of my fun on IRC. I like 1.3.0 quite a bit, but I haven't been playing recently because i've been taking a break from it for some time.

I think it's because they were too used to 1.2.1 and they haven't played the versions before it. That or because it has become slightly more complicated.

1.3 IMO is not fun... Implementing things like bink makes you concentrate harder, and not have as much fun. I usually only play on 1.2.1 wmserver..

1.2.1 was fun, but I honestly think 1.3 is better

1.3 is fine. Stop whining.
My first version was 1.1.4. From what I hear, anyway, the first version was quite laggy and had a lots of hackers, or it was a lot easier to hack anyway.
