I've probably posted 3 times this month & last saying that modified animations can be played online as long as the # of frames are the same. Here's what I think why, so people can stop saying that "animations are not playable online" is end of story, since it isn't quite.

You can't do much while going prone or getting up (I use prone since that is probably the longest "pause" animation everyone can relate to) - I haven't tried firing while going prone but it's possible. That's besides the point; what if you changed a prone animation so that you get up/down really fast? You could get into the better state you're trying to achieve much more quickly than default. The # of frames has to stay the same so you are bound by the animation to not be able to do anything for the same time everyone else does.

That's also why the online gosteks thing probably won't work; like I posted back there, you'd see LOLs rolling instead of sliding and that'd look weird, and their prone state wouldn't look traditional at all, even aside the frame #s :-/

That'd be pretty cool if .POAs could be transferred, tho'. I don't think there are too many malicious people smart enough to make all of their animations über-fast :-P

Really? I just assumed you couldn't use them any more. In that case, there's probably still the possibility for exploits that are a lot worse than what you described (although not nearly as bad as the old flying exploit :P). I'll not post them though, or people might get ideas.
