Why don't we revert back to the days of Netscape 1 and Internet Explorer 1? The days when Netscape owned the internets!

Because Netscrape sucked hard, they were monopolyst and they behaved like Microsoft of the web. Then came the real Microsoft and crushed them, IE was better because it supported more w3c web standards like DOM and CSS, was faster and simpler to use. Netscrape sucked really really hard. Now IE sucks, but that's another story.

whats wrong with IE? I have firefox, but I hate the way it loads a page, and I hate how I cant have a convenient favourites bar on my left. IE isnt slow for me, it loads a page instantly and on a way I like. GOGO IE WHEE

The worst thing about Opera is that certain sites simply does not work on it, as those sites hasn't been customized for opera :(

Ha, I just saw preview of IE 7, and I must say that it was only totally copying Opera and Firefox.

They've even made a plug-in for IE 6, called Foxie, which basically makes Explorer exactly like Firefox. For humanity's sake. Copycats.
