Not only can I not get a list of the Lobby Server but I'm relegated to a single minute of gameplay.

As in, I'll log into a game, play it nice and normal, and then get disconnected.
The message will just say that I was disconnected. That's it.

try staring a game. see what happens. can you only play for 1 minute this way?

Well, one of the reasons this may be happening your name? "Major" "Soldier" etc. All these are defaults and many servers have an anti-Major and Soldier try changing it to something else. Direct X may not be properly installed or you might have to many programs running in the background. If this dosent help try using the "Search" link in my signature.
