Made a map again. Theme is the mountains surrounding Nibelheim in the game FF7. The map isn't large, quite fast paced, should provide fun for 3v3. Lightbeams return too. Credit goes to Urhos for the awesome texture, and for some unknown guy for the barbwire2 scenery.

Nice in overall, but nothing special, you've done better allready,

But the reason could be final fantasy which i have never played (well ff-tactics on gba but that's not 7 )

The bots act weird in the corners, and they seem to take the top route rarer than the lower one, but there are no serious issues with them.

Mmm, I love symmetry :d
And the tree sceneries in the middle adds a nice touch.

A little on the simple side, but visually pleasing nonetheless. I really like the dark area on the bottom path... hard to tell where the ceiling starts/ends >=D.

What do you mean by 'lightbeams return too', btw?

Check my older maps. I've used lightbeams everywhere [mare, marage, desert, kanyon, ranger] and they got boring fast :)

November 5, 2005, 5:51 pm
Well, at least the lightbeams have a point, now. ;)

November 5, 2005, 5:57 pm

But how on earth can you call that "not large"??? :P

November 5, 2005, 6:18 pm
The map size is given by the lenght and height of the routes in it, and not the masses of polygons which build it up. As you can see the map only has two routes, and neither is very long, so the forces reach each others base quite fast. Thus, the map is small.
