im not sure where to post this exactly as it has to do with a mod
basically im wondering how you can change the names of teams.... like blue to lets say peanuts or red to walnuts.

sorta like [URL]this mod by soulsnipa

He edited all the text about Alpha and Bravo teams and replaced it with his own, e.g. the Rebels and the Republic.

I'm glad this came up, I was wondering this myself, are there only certain things you can replace or what? Because I would very much like to edit the text, can somone explain how it works?

You can change almost every ingame text AFAIK just place default.txt in you mod's txt folder and it'll load with the mod.

For the team's names use the search+replace function for "Alpha team" and "bravo team" with the team names you want.

And you can also change the flag capture texts. (ex: You got the Red Flag! ==> You got the Axis flag! )

So if I run my server will it use these options?

No. Everyone uses their own. It's like a graphics mod; if only you have it then only you see it.

Whenever I edit any part of that text it always screws up and jumbles everything. How are people able to get by?
