Flying Kick...

Without weapons.

Jump + Double Punch = Flying Kick.

When opponent gets hit by a Flying Kick...
The opponent gets pushed away as well as losing health.

What do you think...?

Eh, I don't know. Since Soldat isn't so much about physical fighting as it is ranged, I don't think this would work out.

Yeah, you're probably right.
But if this was a real successful Flying Kick.

(It would really kick ass)

(And imagine a flying kick after a dodge by Second Jet)

Soldat is not a ninja game, it's not that physical.

i like it when new people dont double post, read the rules.
ah its ben suggested before. the bottem line is its a game about guns, sure we bring knives to a gun fight but legs are pushing it.

Double click fire when unarmed = Double punch

I think he means hitting the fire/punch button twice... Not that it matters.

soldat is meant for guns, not for unarmed combat

All I wanted was a lousy wannabe Judo kick, like those ones amatuer soccer players do in the air, but want to land and continue running full speed.

The question is: WHY THE [CENSORED] NOT?

ahem! do remeber this!
U HAVE TO BE UNARMED TO PERFORM T3H FLY K1CK!
so i say this is a good idea and a FAIR one!
and this would make new close range combat possibilities.

all we have for melee combat is fists and the chainsaw, which is a great weapon and i use them all the time, but its just not enough. id like to see some martial arts in the game :)

Taal, it's an unwritten rule: Every (=EVERY=) game must have some sort of Asian fighting technique.

Soldat has the technique of bashing someone with a gun. And punching.

Isn't that more cowboy than kung-fu frog? I think it would be too hard to hit someone with a flying kick in soldat.

That's why it will bring a challenge! If you're running along flat ground, and jumping to increase your speed, you'd do some good and quick damage.

No, it's the ancient art of Gun-fu, invented by Chinese Monks several thousand years before the first guns were invented.

i think this is a good idea.

but what happens if you do a backflip then double punch? do you just go all kick style and fall down

or do you fly in the direction that you pointed with your magic ninja powers

Actually I wouldn't mind an extra move used to "push" away other players. Since the punches kind of act like the knife does, what if kicks acted like teh spas does? Perhaps at close range you are hurt, someone has a saw, if you're lucky your kick will knock them away.

Anyone like?

Well I think at least we should be able to use the feet.
In the army, close combat also involves feet.

And I agree with - Tek -
We need some kind of method to push enemies away.
