as far as I know, if you don't already have the next map downloaded, you can't vote for it.. Just something that might be nice to change.

I'd say this issue is one that will definitely be corrected in 1.3.1, considering it's a quasi-bug type thing.


...And now that I think about it, the problem possibly goes the other way, too--you can start voting for maps that you have, but that the server lacks. It's even likely if the clients don't download the server's map list.

That would be nice. You should only be able to vote for the standard maps and the maps in the server's list.
