Hey everyone,
{GSS} Shadow here with a great map that took me a lot more than 20 minutes to make....This started out as an idea for a ctf map, but soon I went overboard and made it too huge to make 2 sides to. I will soon add waypoints for bots, but that will be a lot of work. Just look at the screenshots at the bottom if you don't believe me....But trust me, I will eventually make it a ctf map and INF map too possibly, but I am going to take a break for a while. This still needs lots of scenery, but just test it for bugs now....

By the way, I think you need to also download the texture at the bottom too, as I made my own one up for the snow. Just click the link, and save the bmp file in the textures folder to use it. Also, in the map, if you see an area of snow that looks a little darker, check it out....What a nice hiding spot old snow can be!

the map looks great but.
1) there are a few errors, one i found straight after i loaded the map was a gap in the bridge [:-hot] . fell right through it, no way of getting back up again.
2) the snow texture is of such luminance it makes it hard to focus on the screen. It's really blinding.

Actually n2j3, the gap in the bridge is supposed to be there....hehehe! But I need to make it so that you fall and die below in the icy water, you are right there....

I thought that the texture might be a problem....Maybe I could make it a little darker. That would probably help some....

UPDATE!!!!

For all of you who haven't gotten this map, now is the time, because I have updated it for the last time! I added tons of scenery and fixed a few minor bugs.

BEST OF ALL, I made this map CTF AND INF, along with a DM place! So go ahead and check it out please, because this map is pretty nice, if I could say so myself.

I like the texture. Although, I wouldn't say the map is good...it's mediocre. Just me opinion...with some work, it could be much better. (Unless it looks much different from the screenshot.)
