Well since I can't get soldat running after many attempts, i'm leaving... for awhile 'til it works again. It was nice knowing everyone around here and the only games that run on my computer are internet games... (runescape, addictinggames.com, etc(Runescapes not so bad...)). If anyone knows how to fix directx, that'll probally get it going again so I can play =). I'll try to update Soldat E! if I can... when I got the time.

You could try reinstalling it..?

As said above, i recently had this problem as well.
I simply downloaded and reinstalled directX 8.1! if u want a higher version, just update, 'cause soldat wont work if u install fx. 9.0C directly!
