I get the map file, filename.PMP and i just drop it into the maps folder right?

The maps are never avaliable for me, I'm registered as well. Have I missed something here?

yes , .pmp = for 1.05b. you gotta convert them to .pms with the new map maker(open,compile,save as .pms). then you should see it.
