Ok. Try this. Go into soldat, and select knife as secondary... Equip knife, and start running really fast by hitting jump key as you run. Now, throw the knife in front of you, in the direction you are running. Note how far away it lands.

Now, do the same thing, only throw the knife in the opposite direction from where you are running. Notice the difference?

When you throw the knife away from the direction you are running, it goes about twice as far at a fast speed, while, when you throw it in the direction that you are running, it goes a shorter distance, and slower. Is it just me, or should this be the other way around? Not a really big deal, but I thought I'd mention it, because it _is_ technically a bug. :)

It is because running speed does not affect knife, it's not actually a bug, more like a feature, me thinks.
