Ok, Infinity was [CENSORED]ty. But I spent time on this map and it looks and plays really well. It's not waypointed (i'm not good at that), but there are sceneries. Here's an overview screenie and the file.

PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK! Please don't just say you don't like it or there are problems, say why you don't like it and what the problems specifically are. These are the only ways you can help me to make it better.

EDIT: Btw, I realized that the objects weren't displayed in the screenie. The white flag is in the area with the cloud, and the black flag is in the little hole near the bottom (that's shaded black, and has the tree in it).

EDIT: Many of the sceneries have colliders. The trees and vines all do, as well as the steel support thingies towards the middle. The waterfall doesn't, but the X shaped things do. The bunkers and statue do have them as well.

I NEED WAYPOINTING!!! If Keron Cyst or semagae would be so nice as to waypoint this, I would be so happy. If anyone else wants to waypoint it, just say so. First come, first served!

EDIT: Semagae's gonna waypoint my map :) once I get it working correctly and packaged correctly.

It looks really good to be honest with quite a cool layout and lots of nice colour variation :)

When I first read the title Picasso I was worreid someone stole my idea, I wanted to take some really crazy paintings and turn them into maps :P

An interesting map.
I don't particularly like the shading, but thats just me.

Thanks for the feedback. m00, do you know how to split polies in polyworks?

@Cookie - I made the map by randomly adding polies where I felt like it, then realized that it was a sort of a deformed face. That's why I called it Picasso. Completely coincidental.

Thanks anyway. I'll work on smoothing out the curves in the polies. Any other suggestions or comments peoples?

I understand what the eyes are in it, but I am confused to what is the nose and mouth xD

There is no mouth, just the outline of a nose.

The nose is the curved line above the left eye that goes down between the eyes. The mouth is the orange/red line with the ball on the left side. And the little black pit is the ear. And if you look at it correctly, it looks like the guy is wearing a rasta hat.

YAY! Thanks so much. Since I decided to name it Picasso, I then decided to make it random colors because that's part of his style.

EDIT - Do you see the nose and mouth now cookie?

This deserves a seperate post. Can people dl my map and tell me if they're having access violations? I'm getting access violations when I try to play my map, and it doesn't happen with other maps. Lemme know if it's working for you, or if there are any sceneries missing that I can send you. I really want to be able to play MY OWN MAP and this is really pissing me off.

i can't even open the map with the map maker!
let alone waypoint it!
it gives me that with only that map... :(
thats disapointing, i really wanted to waypoint it :(

Well semagae, when I get it working I'll send it to you. I've been having problems running it in Soldat, as I posted before. Some of your problem might be not having the right textures/sceneries. When I get it working on my computer, i'll upload a zip file with all of the needed files. Hopefully that will solve your problem.
