I just noticed the first hacker I've seen in 1.3.1. This person, under the guise of Major, could instantly teleport between each of the flags, thus finishing a map set to end at 8 caps in less than a second. Not happy to see this just 3 or 4 days after the patches release.
Found in an Australian server with a ping of 133.
The teleporting seemed much more sophisticated than what I have seen in the past.
Just letting it be known that hacks are already availabe...

Hey this could be the start of a hacker huntdown! not only this guy, but whenever someone sees what is SURE to be a hacker, no mistakes, they post about it, and someone with greater knowledge about this things than me(which mean anyone with any knowledge), could do their best to vanish these.. traitors.

if the hack only allows the name of "Major," most good servers kick anyone named "Major," so at least u13 and leo's realistic are safe. (they kick majors, right?)

I'd presume the person could use any name they prefer. Just with "Major", they don't really risk identifying themselves.

Hackers wont go away ever, no matter what MM does someone can hack though it. He can make it harder and harder which should discourage most of em but if they want it bad enough their gonna get it. Nothing is safe from hackers. I suggest some kind of built in memory finder that will keep track of all memory readings and if 1s off it shut downs soldat, then again someone can just hack and disable that. Its a constant battle with no deffinate answer, yet..

Sometimes the anti hack thing is no good. if i config a gun 2 shot knifes (which is a fun game 2 play wit friends), and if you shoot like 100 knives total, that player gets banned from my server. that sucks.

[CENSORED]est thing NOBODY wants but could stop hacking: GameGuard. [CENSORED] YES, GAMEGUARD.

okay, one thing i want t osay. even if a memory finder were implemented OR EVEN GAMEGUARD! my friend said there is a porgram that will block a process from identifying any other processes on the computer. im not going to say what it is, but if anyone got tricky and tried to use this, here is my idea: make it so soldat runs another .exe when it starts, that does nothing but sit there, and make sure soldat is looking for that process. THAT WAY, if they were to use the process blocker, soldat would give indication that it cannot find the program that sits there, and shuts down, or disallows online play. i dunno, just an idea.

I'd much rather the occasional hacker than having to deal with gameguard.

Hackers are cowards that can't fight others without having to do that... I hate them.
