I don't get any kill messages when I kill someone or someone kills me, and I don't hear the "narrgh" sound the soldier makes. Same with flag scoring, no message, no sound. Someone said this is caused by computer lag, but my RAM usage is always around 50% and I'm not running any applications that munch a lot of CPU while playing soldat.

I did the usual spyware/virus scans without finding anything. I only heard about a couple of people who got this bug at some point, and it's a pretty old one I believe. I'll do anything to avoid a reformat

I never had problems with this before 1.3.1.

Soldat is like that for me too sometimes :I It was just as bad in 1.3 for me. I dunno.. there are times when I have no bugs at all though. I don get it.
