Sup everyone

I've been playing soldat for almost 1/2 year and have modded my own version and have my own server (mike323's WM server).

I decided to join a soldat forum, and this is the only one i found. however, i was disappointed that this is a proboards forum. There is one reason why i'm complaining:

- PISS POOR PAGE LOADS

I used to have my own proboards forum which was reletively popular but everyone kept complaining about the slow loading times. so, i closed the forum, and everyone agreed.

Does anyone here besides me think switching to InvisionFree or vBuliten would be a good move?

Proboards is using cgi, and this is asp.

Proboards uses YaBB, which runs on Perl. These forums use Snitz, which runs on ASP.

Converting to a PHP-based forum such as InvisionBoard would be time-wasting. And vBulletin costs money.

I prefer those kind of new members that read the rules and don't make a unreasoned complaint before anything else.

Maximum for signatures is 300 pixels wide and 125 pixels high, file size less or equal to 20 kilo bytes.

Anyhow, welcome.

To all: First, sorry for resurrecting my ancient topic, but I just wanted to apologize for being such an as$hole when I first got here. I also prefer the kind of members who read the rules and avoid complaining for their first post. When I first got here I thought i'd been to enough forums to make this crappy judgement, but now the forum loads as fast as any forum service.

If you prefer the kind of members who read the rules first, then read the rules and don't revive an old topic. Recently we've started looking at new hosts (probably me) and new forums as well. Rest easy, the forums are in good hands.
