ive seen this alot lately, people say 'bye' and then 30 seconds later they disconnect.

its annoying because for that 30 seconds youve got a lifeless player on your team, and you dont know when they actually left.

so please at least exit the game before using alt-f4 :/

I always alt-f4

I use ALT tab.. but i always exit out the normal way.

I just go esc - exit to main menu

Exit closes all connections. It's good to do that.

People should learn to do it the proper way than trying something else.

ya, exit the right way, thrugh the program. (fer gawds sake!)

I use /shutdown.

I alt+F4 and it says I left right away...

Start > Run > "taskmgr.exe"

Click 'Soldat.exe'

Click 'End Process'

alt+tab can kill soldat like... yeah

i go "exit game" - "exit".. never knew about alt+F4 giving those probs though. I might actually start using alt+F4 more often..

I have a nifty button on my keyboard. it closes whatever window I have up. I have buttons for EVERYTHING.

my keyboard is the lazy mans choise.

I easily beat you on that... CUZ I HAVE 3 BUTTONS THAT CAN CLOSE ANY WINDOW THAT I HAVE OPENED!!

Ha, i wanna see you beating me on that.


PS. btw, the buttons are "Ctrl, Alt and Delete" :P :D(haha)

Alt + F4 also kills your Secondary Weapon in Player if you changed it; only exiting normally retains the new value. I try to exit normally most of the time ;-)

The only time I hit Alt-F4 is if some message box (Soldat related or not) appears, especially when they keep coming. Then they all disappear and Soldat is left open for a full blast of Alt-F4 power.

That and when my PC freezes...

ALT + TAB = MEAN;
F9 = KEWL;

I hate Alf +F4
