speed is nothing in tight corners/mountain roads. Forget top speed, get better acceleration and handling, possibly low end torque.

1. this isnt a race\track car, it's a street car. it isn't built for having superb handling or amazing turns in tight corners. so like i said, the supra would kill the veyron in a straight line.

2. get better acceleration?! this car does 0-60mph in less than 2 seconds, that's much better than a stock veyron.

might wanna check out real dragsters... if you wanna go in a straight line.

@Leo - i'm considering buying a friend's 92 toyota supra and tuning\improving it in a nearest-as-possible method that used with that specific white supra.

@Psycho - yea my budget absolutley won't let me get anything exotic-like ;P (ferrari, porsche etc)

@Rhomnus - real dragsters aren't street legal ;P

@ThaD - that skyline is a real cutie.. but its probably (for sure) massively tuned, and got stuffed with addons such as a supercharger or twin turbos atleast. point being - not all skylines are THAT good.
here's a cute video that shows how fast the supra accelerates + dyno results which shows the supra has got 1520 rwhp.
edit - yea that skyline you showed is alittle slower than the supra. it runs a quartermile in 9.399

Sure, maybe the Supra accelerates faster, but the Veyron has a top speed of over 250 mph, and since it's acceleration rate is almost constant it reachs top speed in eight seconds. 0-250 in 8 seconds. It would depend on the distance, but over any significant distance (for a race with these kind of cars in it) the Veyron would overtake and conquer the Supra.

Stop bull[CENSORED]ing. The supra takes on the veyron at any kind of acceleration.
Buggati stats :
100km/h(60mls) in 2.9 seconds
300km/h(180 mls) in 14.0 seconds flat
While the supra does 170 miles, in 8,5.
The bugati has nothing on this baby :)
Supra has less weight, and 500 more horse power, what did you expect?

Also, where did you get those [CENSORED]ed up false info anyway? And who needs a car that goes 400? That's 2x+ speed limit in any damn country. Not that you can live with that speed anywhere but a straight road with no cars.

Also, if you want a supercar, right out of the stock, then check Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. It accelerates faster then that buggati...it's the only production car with a completely flat bottom. It can generate enough downforce to stick to the ceiling at high enough speeds(It can achieve these speeds, yes, but how to flip it around and stick it to the ceiling of the tunnel, you figure it out).
Yes, it's high speed also go at around 400.
But as I said, who needs such cars.
