Hey all,

Well I've been playing Soldat for sometime now, and its occured to me on public servers many players are using taunts to give team members hints of where the flag carrier is etc. For example they say "Enemy Flag Carrier LOW" in teamchat. I would just like to know how to do this. All I know is that you do have to change your taunts, but can anyone give some more detailed istructions? Really apreciate it if someone could help us out here.

in soldat directory you have a file called taunts.txt - edit it
for best results use a program design to change taunts(you can download several from this website)

I recommend you use the SelfKill Taunt Editor.

You open your taunts.txt and save it on that.
Also you ahve to save it to the txt in your Profile folder.

Hey guys its me again,

Ive downloaded the selfkill taunt program. The taunt thing works so my problem is half fixed. However I was wondering if it is possible to get the taunt by pressing ALT and a number on the calculator part of the keyboard.

Btw, it would be better if someone explained it better if I could manually change my taunts. I know I can edit them, but how can I get it to show up on the game, how do I enter the correct keys.

alt+numberassignedtotaunt = taunt said. If you want it to be said in teamchat say ^ before the message.

You can also assign your taunts to letters. Alt+A = taunt for example. :)

you probably figured this out, but in the txt file they're in alpha-numeric order

i missed the days where you could see the taunt before you said it.
