This map is part of a series of maps which will be part of the Numerical Map Pack I'm gradually working on, a small collection of tiny, quick-game maps where bullet-time triggers often whose ground area resemble the #s 1-9 (maybe 0 if I feel like it).

Replace the necessary folders in in your Soldat directory and have fun ;-D

try shading, and developing your map, its ok for a beginner though :P

It is shaded; it's lighter at the top and darker at the bottom (generic, but it works). And what do you mean by "developing?" There's not much I can do since the number itself is very straightforward...

i mean-
edit the poly shading, to be more small polys rather than 2(or a few) big polys
and i meant good shading :P

Bah. MM+'s Paint function is enough for me :-P

Did you download it or just criticize from the overview? Gameplay rocks and is very hard; that's the best layout for it, even though it looks like gameplay'd be crap.

I heavily emphasized that in the Readme.

MM+ has a 1337 Paint function in its Polygons tab. You've never gotten MM+ before?! For shame...

I would suggest a much more earthy tone in the polygons, also, since it's a shaft, where are the elevators? It would look very nice if there are cargo elevators in the background and ropes.

have you considered alternating between these arabic numbers and roman numbers? It could help working around layout/gameplay issues in forecoming maps (map #7 would be quite similar to #1, aye? xD ).
Although i am already expecting map #8, it will be quite interesting.

Interesting concept if you ran all the numbered maps in sequence on one server. Just put a huge dark scenery of your design over it all, set to maybe 15% to darken everything up.

Polyworks > MM+

Cept' waypointing, SMM > All

I'm putting in the li'l bend at the top-left and putting the dash in the middle of the /; Alpha will spawn at the bottom and the black flag will be in the corner left, so it'll of course be called inf_Frustration (but in German, just like how ctf_Kampf means "ctf_Struggle") B-)

2 is a piece of crap right now; it's too small, basically, so I'm redesigning it. I'm working on #4, jungley htf_Cut, more, tho' ( like the # 4 as it appears right here, not the alternative method of drawing, using four 90ยบ sticks - what kind of map is that? ;-) ).

EDIT @Ranzear: does "SMM" mean Soldat MapMaker? Dude!! What you're missing out on! MM+ fixes wypt. bugs so you can place wypts. right next to each other and they don't interfere at all, and you can activate movement attributes through shortcut keys!
