Well I dont think this has been made so I will start out with one I just made.

How to save a pallete:
Right Click Text (.txt) File
Save Target As... C:\Soldat\Soldat PolyWorks\palettes

Author: SoulSnipa
[IMAGE]
Download: http://sml.u13.net/files/SMLpallete.txt
Download Alt.: http://sml.u13.net/files/SMLpallete2.txt

Description:
Includes:
You got 2 brown sets whether its dirt or a swamp mixture.
2 Green sets again for swamp or grass right under.
3 Different types of blues for bases and ice.
1 Set of red for the red base.
1 Set of each Yellow/Orange for other hints of dirt and similar
1 Entire row of white through darkgray...for shading and making rocks/caves.
In the alternate pallete, the colors are from white-black rather than darkgray.

Description:
the interesting thing is that if you convert the rgb values into hexidecimal, all of them are things like (A0,90,10), (F0,30,FF), and (60,80,B0). i guess that's how i think.

edit: turning the screenshot into .gif screwed a couple of the colors. the whole thing looks better once downloaded.

Very nice idea, i'm goin to share pallettes too.
Soulsnipa, even when you've picked correct colours, i don't think it's a good idea to pack them up in a single pallette. I think it's best to have different specialized pallettes, to get more shading variants. Unless you actually make a map that includes different themed
zones.
For instance, my ice pallete is this one:
I used it for a couple of icy maps :) Although i didn't include as much colour samples as i would've liked :P

Here's the txt file for that pallette:

different opacity and settings get me different shades that i want. takes way too much time to choose a new color for something that minute.

i'm one of those people who sees 96,112,80 as a nice green camo color, and will freak out if someone rounds it to 100,110,80. so, here is my palette used for everything.

Here's the pallette i made for inf_teleboosters: mainly variations of oranges and yellows. I also added absolute yellow, red and blue samples, with different brightnesses. Red and blue, of course, for alpha and bravo teams :P

Ok, how do I select a certain pallette in PW from all I have in my pallettes directory?

You see the little down arrow, next to the X on the palett window? Just push that then go down to Load Palett, and select a palett out of your palett directory.
