After all, i think i really dislike creating "usual" maps, even cs maps, i felt the urge to create another climb map. as i thought about the concept, my old kz_tower came to my mind, the second climb map ever. kz_tower2 is just another tower with some obstacles and different sections. checkpoints included in kz version (for Teamdeathmatch). ctf version is slightly different and easyier in some places because of the lack of checkpoints

Holie molie it's big :D I tried it and i couldn't get further than few polygons.. But i'll try to get further:P Nice map otherwise.

P.S i made it up to first deadly spikes

Oh that's wonderful critique you've got there. On topic, the map needs a bit more, err contrast. Other than that, it's very nice. I like the toxic waste polygon. =]

EDIT: Now that I've played it, I must say that the black sceneries superimposed on the purple polys don't quite do it for me. But that's just skepticism.

I repeat for the 4th time ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS add textures/edges if you post a texture

I played it thru and i got bored after I died once, because i got further that charlies checkpoint being red

Some textures don't have edges viggoloniggolo, even though Soldat always wants to find them if you have Poly smoothing enabled. And "looks [CENSORED]" isn't considered as feedback for a map, so either post real constructive criticism, or don't post at all.

About the map: I believe it looks nice, should provide a fun half an hour for me, going to test it pronto. I'll be sure to edit my post for further comments.

EDIT: Jolly fun, good for practicing backflips. I never really got the hang of that playing regulary :) Maybe you could do another training map like the one that explained kickjumping, but with different backflips?

Now this map looks like the personification of evil... into a climbing map xD
I've become a fan of your racing/climbing maps. And it seems i'm going to enjoy this one as well.

i loved your original tower map, and this one's even better. nice shading, creative use of the light pack, and fun as hell. no suggestions.

by the way, what was the first climbing map ever?

Some nades on the platform before the yellow checkpoint would be nice, because if you join blue, you won't have any nades. Or change your suggestion to "Max. nades 2".

i fixed ctf_tower2 so it is possible without nades, it's an alternative for servers with no nades in their settings.

I liked the older tower, it was bigger, but it had a bug at the top, re-release kz_tower(fixed) <---People still play it

yes i played it, you are right it's challenging, but it's not that good the way it is because it's too hard in some places where you can die and the it becomes very frustrating, good climb maps should avoid too much frustration. i did only get to the lower tunnel. i got there 4 times and whenever i tried to jump over the spikes, i fell. then i recognized that there is an almost invisible black poly. how to avoid? the next time i got there, i didnt find any secret way or different jump technique, how can someone do it?

i will give you a hint: upon the spikes, there is a box, its coloured teal, it is fake inside, you can just walk in it. the second similar thing is a little easyer, you can almost see the way
