Is there a way I can play Soldat here in University, I try to find internet games and nothing shows up, I think it might have something to do with blocked ports. All internet gaming seems impossible, help please!

yep, your ports are blocked. try to obtain a list of allowed ports, then maybe one of your friends can help you test it by setting up a server on their computer on a valid port. if you can join, then huraa. if not, something else is wrong.

some colleges freak out and totally block every port that they don't know what it is for. I'm guessing you don't go to a technical school where people might have a use for those ports, but instead probably a liberal arts college or something.

There's really not much you could do except for some elaborate proxying setup, but that would be more laggy then you would ever want to play with.
