DUGWAY PROVING GROUND, Utah ? Hundreds of people are dead and thousands more dying when a capsule containing first comet dust samples broke open upon impact on a USAF Test Range near Salt Lake City. Cause of deaths are still unknown.

The "human loss is in the hundreds in the central and northeastern salt lake area. ... Entire towns have been contaminated with the unknown substance ... Stay away from the region as it appears there will be a catastrophic loss of life," said Yusuf Ismail, spokesman for FEMA.
