More random spawnpoints

This suggestion wouldn't look cool or flashy. It wouldn't create unbalance and alot of lag. Well, if you havn't been playing for a while you wouldn't even notice a difference. :)

Currently player spawns are quite predictable. The spawnpoints are fixed and if there are many players in a server all you got to do is spam some nades at a "hot spawn zone" to get som free/lame kills.

This system of spawning could be rebuilt. As said, the spawnpoints are fixed points. Points predefined in the map. But if this were to change into lines between points, where you were able to spawn all along the line. Then it would be alot harder to predict where someone would spawn.

If you can put two dots at a map and link them, as in the waypoint system, this shouldn't be a problem to add. Just get a random value along that line, and spawn there.

The servers would have to send about (4 bytes times the number of dead players) more data every spawn, I guess. It's not THAT much...

I dont really mind the spawn points. Its really not that hard to avoid being killed by a spawn camper. Just use your temporary immunity to get away fast.

Qazwerted, all the mappers have to do is make more spawn points in different places. Easy as pie and no extra code.
